Source Claims This Is How Much Melania Would Receive If She Gets Divorced With Donald
First Lady Melania Trump could reportedly walk away with a jaw-dropping fortune if she ever chose to divorce President Donald Trump, but those close to the couple insist such a move is unlikely — despite persistent speculation about their marriage.
According to multiple reports, Melania, now 54, has strategically renegotiated her prenuptial agreement with the President on more than one occasion — first in 2017, just before she officially moved into the White House, and again in late 2022, as President Trump faced mounting political and legal pressures. Insiders claim the First Lady used her position — and her son Barron’s future — as leverage to secure more favorable financial terms.

Family law experts estimate that if the First Lady ever did part ways with the President, she could receive more than $50 million — far exceeding the settlements given to his two previous wives, Ivana Trump and Marla Maples.
Attorney Jacqueline Newman, a New York-based divorce lawyer, told Town & Country that Melania’s payout would “almost certainly be generous,” reflecting the high standard of living she’s maintained for years. “Fifty million is a significant sum,” Newman said, “but in New York, for the lifestyle she’s used to, it’s not enough to replicate what she has now.”

The couple’s relationship began in 1998, when Melania Knauss — then a Slovenian-born fashion model — met Trump at a Manhattan event. She famously declined his first advance because he arrived with another woman. Still, sparks flew soon after, and by 2005, they were married in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony. A year later, she became a U.S. citizen, and the couple welcomed their only child, Barron, now 19 and a student at New York University.
President Trump, now 79, has five children from three marriages. His first wife, Ivana Trump, received roughly $14 million, a Connecticut mansion, and an apartment in Trump Plaza following their 1992 divorce. His second wife, Marla Maples, reportedly walked away with about $2 million after their split in 1999.

Melania’s revised prenuptial deal is said to protect Barron’s share of the Trump family assets and ensure he has a role in the family’s business ventures. According to Washington Post journalist Mary Jordan, author of The Art of Her Deal, Melania’s five-month delay in moving to the White House in 2017 was used “strategically” to secure those updated financial terms.
Despite constant rumors of marital strain, those close to the First Lady say she remains fiercely protective of her husband and focused on her family. Former adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, author of Melania and Me, once claimed the Trumps maintain “separate bedrooms” and have “a transactional marriage,” but the First Lady’s actions suggest loyalty remains her guiding principle.

Melania has brushed off speculation in the past, calling herself “first and foremost a mother and wife.” And while critics continue to dissect every move and gesture, one thing seems clear — Melania Trump isn’t going anywhere.
If the day ever came when she did, though, experts say the First Lady would be leaving the White House with both her dignity and a financial cushion most can only dream of.
